Flash! Thank you to the RCA General Synod for its emphasis on multi-cultural leadership development. The video that was featured at Sunday night’s meeting wonderfully described the ministries of two churches in Holland, MI. Click here to see the video.
Bang! Thank you to Beechwood (Lead Pastor, Jim Lankheet) and Christ Memorial (Lead Pastor, Todd VanEk) churches, along with Holland Classis (Executive, Larry Schuyler), not only for the multi-cultural emphasis evidenced in the video but also for incorporating leadership training into the work of raising up leaders. Church Leadership Center is privileged to currently coordinate the training of the following seven Commissioned Pastor applicants and candidates from these two churches: Enrique Cuevas, Hugo Vasquez, Israel Alvarado, and Eric Peterson from Beechwood; and Lisa Urivez, Mike Gruppen, and Willie Watt from Christ Memorial.
Ooh! Thank you to facilitators, mentors, and participants in Church Leadership Center courses and programs. Fall 2013 we are offering more lay leadership courses than ever before, including: Old Testament, Theology, Pastoral Care, and Standards and Government.
